So since my last blog and the Christmas period I’ve been pretty slow on updating PicJP. That’s mainly down to getting out and about doing some stock photography, and I’ve recently been working on this:

Beginning as a beautiful red poppy, I choose this photo as I’ve been wanting to get back into recolouring for a while. Although a little late after the celebrations, the idea behind this was to create something to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War One (WW1). It might be late in those terms and even later to be sharing it with you but I personally believe we should take the opportunity to remember those who’ve lost their lives in conflict any time we can.

I opted for gold because there is something striking and celebratory about the colour all at once. I have to admit I’m really pleased with how the light baubles around it turned out too. It makes such a wonderful background with a feel of burning embers (or is that just me??). Would love to read what you think in the comments below.

Photography and video requests

As mentioned above I’m looking for new photography and video opportunities. This could be anything from standard requests like music videos, gig photography, music videos, or even editing something you’ve already captured.
